Vladimir Kim

A young artist from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Vladimir Kim graduated from the Tashkent State Pedagogical Institute in 1991. He was born in Tashkent in 1964. While his life has been rather stationary, his tremendous imagination has helped him to "travel" the world often working with mystical themes and figures. In his paintings inanimate objects somehow come to life, but this is not immediately obvious. Kim accomplishes this by making his "things" bend and twist in unorthodox ways ... almost greeting each other for a morning coffee.
