Rahim Ahmedov

Rahim Ahmedov was born in 1924 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He has seen many changes in his country in his lifetime. He started to study art at the age of 13. He is a WWII veteran. After the war Ahmedov continued his artistic studies in Leningrad (Saint Petersburg). He has received many awards throughout the former Soviet Union. His popularity took him mainly to Moscow for exhibitions but also to Poland. He loves landscape and likes to paint them not at "traditional" times like sunset or sunrise. He prefers the scenes in bright daylight.
